Rekeem Harper
Just signed from WBA on loan for the year. Plays midfield, other than that don't know much about him.

"highly rated"

Re: Rekeem Harper
From what I've read about him today, he's only just (literally today) signed a two year pro deal at WBA and Tony Mowbray loves the guy. The deal was going to be done earlier in the preseason but he was given a run in their first team and made his premier league debut.
Also from what I've seen, he's a different type of midfielder to what we have currently (which includes our youth players). I've pretty sick and tired of reading the misery on Twitter about Tomlinson and Hardcastle... but lets face it Tony knows these guys better than any of us and if he thinks getting a borderline Prem quality kid in instead is the better deal, then I trust him on that.

Was surprised to see us do anything last night after the motherwell guy went to Sheff U.... let alone 3 in and one out.

Re: Rekeem Harper
No point in WBA maintaining the loan if we aren't going to play him. And we aren't!
Are there any other players whose loans are due to expire?

Chapman, Downing and Antonsson are all on loans until the end of May.

Re: Rekeem Harper
Harper got himself sent off in the first game against Crewe then did his best to get sent off in the replay. He might have the talent but he has a lot to learn to make it as a professional footballer. Lets hope for his sake he is more suited to the premier league than League One.
Re: Rekeem Harper
Not surprised, would of perhaps been useful if he'd been here till the weekend so we could have used him in the FA Cup and rested Smallwood.
