Centre back, on loan from MK Dons. Only 25. Came through the ranks at WBA before joining Walsall and then MK Dons. So experienced in this league.
Probably only going to be depth at centre back and will likely be behind Wharton (at least I hope he will be) once he gets fit again.

It's such a shame that Wharton got injured when he did, after a really good season on loan too.
I thought he'd have had a pretty unobstructed route into the first team this season, but it looks like another body is now complicating things for him.
I don't know much much about Downing, but with both Wharton and Lenihan injured we definitely need cover there.

I was worried, if we brought another CB in, that we may revert to this back three tripe that really doesn't suit or work for us.

Good to know he is on permanently. He has been solid, but not saying what a massive club Rovers are makes me think otherwise.
