Rovers Wingers

Glad to see Wharton is back to fitness though - Wharton and Lenihan could form a great defensive basis for Rovers in the future, even if they are both prone to red cards.
With Chapman out we badly need a creative winger it's OK playing Antonsson as a stop gap,but we've lost Feeney (fast but useless) Taylor,Marshall, and Mahoney and only replaced them with the injured Chapman. Bennet is OK but Conway is also a tad fragile. Over to you Mr Mowbray.

You know what you need here? It's not a banging donk.

Graham Carey at Plymouth is a type of player that could improve Rovers forward play. Ok he is not a winger but a left sided midfielder. He was the one who scored against Rovers recently at Ewood. Three goals and three assists in his last six games for a struggling team is not bad going. Indeed thirty goals in one hundred games for the pilgrims in two years is a good record. He is also known to Mowbray in his time at Celtic.

Is Harper not here still? And I thought Caddis could play there too?

Harper? Have I missed someone?
We need a specialised winger, in fact the game as a whole seems to be short of genuine wingers. Even England no longer seems to play wingers, and relies on 'wing backs'. Or am I out of touch?

Harper is more of a plug in midfielder right now, and Caddis is rather weak at right midfield from last time he started there. I honestly think we should throw in the youth for the next month and a half until January, then get a winger or two in.
