This coul;d be the best crop of youngsters we've had since Hanley, Jones, Lowe and Henley came through together.

Article in the LT about Mowbray commenting on the likelihood of Travis going out on loan to a league 1 side in January. Obviously we don't know the full internal nature of relationships and what is going on but it just seems to be that we're not managing him as best as possible. He's such a promising young player that I just worry about him going down the same road as Mahoney and wanting to leave permanently.

It just doesn't seem to make sense that we refused to let him go out on loan in the summer but now we're happy too. I'm sure there where quotes from Mowbray in the summer saying that Travis comes to speak to him all the time asking about playing and wanting to go out on loan etc. Surely it would have made more sense to send him out on loan in the summer with set conditions that he could be recalled at any time and that it would be reviewed in January instead of keeping him here essentially as a sub who gets game time here and there.

I d like to see Travis get far more game time. When he comes on he looks strong and aggressive. Unlike a certain midfielder we have, his first action with the ball at his feet is not to turn round and find Raya, and surely Evans should be scoring more than once every three years?
I agree that Travis is one of our best prospects, please don't send him to a first division team, use him as a sub.

Yeah it's clear we isn't going to be in the starting XI but he wants more game time, what I don't understand is why didn't we send him out on loan in the summer and be looking at assessing things now which would have kept him much happier as a player.
