More importantly... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/augu ... says-arma/

We are just "great" apparently. You've let us down, you've let the club down, but most of all you've let yourself down Adam.

He fits into the team well and looks like he could grow into a very good player indeed, worth a punt.

Definitely the best news so far this summer. Sounds like there was a lot of interest from other clubs so the fact he chose us shows there’s belief we’re still on the up.

And most importantly he’s added some much needed variety to the ‘massive list’ :D

It was really important that we brought in another striker before the transfer window closed as it was the last major gap. Any further signings for me would be a bonus.

Armstrong was terrific for us last season and can operate wider and centrally with pace. He's also worked linked very well with Dack and Graham but does need to prove he can replicate his scoring form at this level.

His career stats to date read:

League 1: Appearances 61, Goals 29
Championship: Appearances 56, Goals 7

I guess the common factor is that his time in League 1 has always been with Mowbray as manager both at Coventry and Rovers so hopefully that continues this season as we've seen he has the ability to succeed

Pace makes such a difference. Even players who couldn't finish a Sunday lunch manage to make a name as a striker if they have the pace.

In the LT he does saying signing here is huge and that it is a massive step in his career.

That's taken from the article you quoted me linking to. Neither are about the size of the club. Not good enough.

Harsh ruling, but rules are rules.

Hardly. He could say that his Great Dane is massive. His appetite for custard is massive. His Nordic bakeware collection is massive. None are about the club and therefore don't count in the massive list.

The ability to use descriptors of size about other arbitrary objects or concepts does not an entry in the massive list make. You can quote me on that.

I respect the rules nearly as much as a massive Nordic bakeware collection.

Newcastle fans are doing their nut. Some saying Rovers have got Arma on the cheap. Some saying he should stay with Newcastle. I can see there point. Rovers have got him cheaply. Should he start scoring regularly his value will increase far beyond the 3 million Rovers would eventually pay for him. Its not all about Rovers being lucky though. Arma is lucky he now has a team around him good enough to match his immediate ambitions.Something he didnt have at Coventry, Barnsley and Bolton.

Jason Roberts. Where's the link to his how to finish class again?
