Its a no from me too. Personally, i dont think he has shown enough in the games he has played in. Its very hard coming into the premiership and making an imediate impression, but i dont think he hsa even made the slightest dent.

Ship him back to Roma or whereever he came from and lets look for another alternative. We have Roberts and Derbyshire as good alternatives, and also Gally if we need him. I'd like to see us bring in another forward in the Summer though, and i'd be delighted if it was Bellamy :-D

Definately not. He's shown flashes of what he's capable of, but he's not doing it consistently and comes across as a bit lazy sometimes.

I've gone with no... but only because we do have options available. Derbs is for my money the front runner for the second striker post next season (provided we keep mccarthy) but i don't think nonda gives us much that roberts can't either so i don't see the point in throwing a couple of million at roma for him.

No he hasn't been that good. There are players a lot more consitant that we could sign.

At times Nonda has flattered to deceive, like with his brace at Ewood vs Pompey in February

And his stat of 7 goals in 16 starts is pretty good but I just feel there must be better options out there than spending £2m on him

I'm sure everyone already knows my view, I just think the situation is similar to that with Bentley last year. I saw quality in both of them, but I think it's harder to be at your best if you're having to prove yourself on a temporary contract. It's purely psychological, but I think being settled somewhere makes a difference, hence why Bentley has turned into the player I said he would.

I remember being very impressed by Nonda when he was playing for Monace in the CL, and I believe that if we sign him permanently, he'll step up a gear next season.

I've voted yes, but am pretty much undecided if the truth be known. In answer to the specific question \"Has he done enough...\" i think the answer is that he's shown enough to be a worthy signing.

He's had a decent return in goals, even though he quite obviously stuttered at the start of his Ewood career. He's played consistently enough once he got going, providing excellent hold up play and contributing to the team.

My only question is \"does he offer anything that Roberts doesn't\" (other than fitness) and would the money be better off spent elsewhere?

On that count, i don't know.

He's shown enough to me to make me think that he'd only improve in a second season under Sparky. Unless we have someone MUCH better lined up - 2 million sounds fair to me for someone with his ability and potential.

He does the same job as Roberts but not as well. Benni prefers Roberts.
No point in signing Nonda.
