The Champions League Thread

Post by roversmillsy » Tue Oct 20, 2009 8:08 pm

I don't expect this to take off but I have decided to start A Champions League Thread so you can well...talk about anything in the champions league. Or does nobody watch it now. You can put anything you want about the CL in this thread from Predictions to latest scores, draws to CL news.

I have got the beeb auto refresh scores thingy open in another tab :D

How long will Rubin Kazan stay ahead against Barca. I think Barca will score just after half time and go on to win 4-1.

The Fiorentina vs Debrecen game looks like a corker. 6 Goals in first half!

I remember when Monaco beat Deportivo 8-3. 1 of best games ever.

Congratulations to the new Russian champs Rubin Kazan for a sensational victory over Barcelona :king: You will be kings of Europe.

Rangers what happened? Great result for Unirea though.

I'll have to wait to see that, I'm watching the Chelsea game on my nice free ITV ;)

Kalou's missed an open goal, even Roberts would have tapped it in from where he was.

Edit...found it. Oh dear.

Casillas' clanger for Milan's second was a corker too. Pirlo's and Drenthe's goals were quality, and Milan's winner was down to sloppy defending by Real's back 4. 'Twas a good game, glad I watched it.
