Maybe they're just plucking lines out of context, but going off the BBC live page, Rosie 47 seems to think he's doing a stand-up routine rather than defending himself.

Cool! Fire Capello for breach of contract and being a twat and get Redknapp in and watch Spurs fall apart. :hyper:

Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand on Twitter: "Multi-million pound investigation of Redknapp spanning five years....who foots that bill?? You/me and all the other taxpayers!"
So that excludes Rosie 47?

Portsmouth are reported to be close to liquidation next month and the immediate destiny of the club is said to be in the hands of the players. In order for the club to survive it is required that the players either agree to be transfered or sign wage compromise deals. If this was the club i support i would be still clinging on to the hope that the club will always be around like it was before i was around and after i've gone. This might to be the case for Portsmouth fans soon. Players like Kanu are said to be owed £3 million in wages and have Harry Redknapp in discussion with them trying to reach a compromise. The last thing i would want is HR talking to me about money :D Anyway for one reason only i hope for the sake of all Portsmouth fans that they can somehow reach an agreement with the players and continue without liquidation.

They've got 7 more players they need to get rid of in order to avoid closing: Tal Ben Haim, Greg Halford, Erik Huseklepp, Dave Kitson, Liam Lawrence, David Norris and Kanu. Out of those, I don't think I'd want any of them at Rovers.

I think Erik Huseklepp is mates with Peds. I'm sure we've been linked to him before. :yeahright:

The thing is, if they do get rid of them, they'll be left with a youth team and a ten point penalty. Another relegation looks a certainty. Maybe the best thing for them is to close down and start a new club?
