"His appointment comes after Stoke failed to land any of their top three targets." :D
Vice-chairman John Coates added: "Paul has been successful in management at clubs with a strong and stable background and with local ownership - the kind of foundation we are able to give to our managers.
Slight dig there?

I suppose he couldn't really say he's been a let down everywhere bar Norwich...

When they are the ones responsible for sacking the perfectly good manager you had before I guess there is a certain sense to it :D

Owen Coyle resigns as manager of Ross County. One of the reasons why he resigned was because his family live in England. Wigan is in England, Bolton is in England and Blackburn is in England. Obviously not close enough to where his family live.

Did he resign from his other jobs?

And obviously, once you've given a reason for resigning from one job, it must also be the reason you resigned from all your jobs right?

Quite correct. All the blame for only winning four of his twenty two Games for Ross County is quite clearly his family's refusal to move house. Or for Ross County to move to England.

I heard that was why Bolton sacked him. Because Ross County wouldn't move to England. Makes sense really.
