Thoughts on the new Reading manager??! :)
*googles*
Hey look, Reading have a new manager, and it's the guy we had on the staff for a few months when the club was falling apart :D

It'll be interesting to see how he does. All the best to Reading, he's a big name in coaching but hasn't lasted long anywhere as a manager, and if I recall correctly Derby fans didn't particularly like his style of play. Hopefully this is where he makes a decent name for himself - he kept Swansea up when he went there, good luck on staying above the bottom three! (I realise that sounds a tad sarcastic - it isn't..!)

I've been a big supporter of Clement... generally I don't feel like he go the chance at any of his jobs that he probably deserved given his coaching pedigree.

That said... the football at Swansea wasn;t great under his tenure... and it didn't appear in any of his jobs that he was taking the club in the right direction.

It's not an official FA sponsored competition - it can be for whoever he wants it to be. He just dissed us because we got relegated. Some friend eh. They are all dead to me.

Surely LOLambert has to go soon. He's completely failed at Stoke.

The chap from paddy power on the football weekly podcast claimed they paid out on stoke to go down bets the day he was appointed.

Tony Mowbray has been mentioned a lot since McCarthy's boring arse saw the exit but he's not a leading candidate. Now I respect Mowbray a lot, he was a fine serviceman for us and held in high regard by a number of the fans but I wouldn't want him back to manage the team. Just couldn't see it working out.

Now that Blackburn are back in the Championship I would expect him to stay put, had Rovers missed out on a promotion Mowbray may have been tempted to leave for another challenge and that would have allowed the door open for us, but think any idea has now been squashed both with your clubs promotion and he seems (now) to have fallen off our radar.
