Meh... We already bribe player £100k a week to win football matches... not sure what the difference is.

Indeed. It's hard to call things a bribe when they are just an extra incentive to do what you should already be trying your best to achieve. If it was money to lose, it'd be rather different.

Agree with Ethiaa. If it was to lose a game then that is completely wrong and the people involved should get life bans but as it is just an extra incentive to win, it shouldn't be classed as match fixing.

P.S On a slightly similar note(although Manure may have lossed on purpose) but do you think United could have lost their last game of the season a few years ago against West Ham on purpose. The result meant West Ham stayed up and Tevez then moved from West Ham to OT in the summer. IMO Manure lost that on purpose but I am maybe just being cynical.
