Think Rhodes is a little unlucky as well to be honest.

Granted Murray is a little higher in the scoring charts, but with Palace riding high in the league he doesn't have the huge ball and chain that is the rovers midfield getting in his way. Would question whether any one player has been as important to their club as Rhodes has been to us this year.

If his lack of recognition contributes to him staying with us next year, I'm all for it!

Spot on. Murray's banged in more goals, but he's had the likes of Zaha, Dobbie and Bolasie playing well behind him and feeding him whenever they can. Rhodes has scored with very little help whatsoever, often pulling a goal out of nowhere. Granted, he doesn't assist or do much else, but up there on your own your job is to score goals, which he's done. Harsh to leave him out.

We all know BFS will be along in a few weeks with a derisory 2.5 million offer for him, and the bluster about it when we tell him to feck off.

Wouldn't be at all surprising to be honest. Especially if they can't sign Carroll as has been reported in a few places

Rhodes is joint second in our assists table. Or second on his own if you just count league games...
