What's he packing? ;)

He's pulled this stunt before. When he has his 'big announcement' at Old Toilet this Sunday I expect nothing more than arrogant gloating and bullshit!!

Surely he's not really retiring, but quitting to take on his dream job here?

#stevekeanforunited....

or perhaps Henning Berk, sorry Berg.....an ex-player who won many trophies with UTD during a glittering playing career.

Sam Allardyce 66/1 on Sky Bet. Surprisingly no mention of Kean or Appleton, but Paul Ince is at 125/1...

There were stories yesterday that Moyes was set to take up the role of SAF's assistant for a transitional season before taking full control. I'd be very surprised to see Moyes agree to that, but the fact that his contract at Everton is up this summer gives United a narrow window to snap up what I would consider to be one of the best managers outside of the top 4 before he commits to another long contract somewhere.

I hope they do go for Moyes. Will make their fall all the swifter. :hyper:

However I reckon (not that it's worth much these days) they will go for someone who has been there and got several t-shirts as they cannot afford another post-busby collapse

I wonder if the fact that Ferguson is moving 'upstairs' will put off some of the more established star names?

I saw that... and one suggesting he takes full control but Ferguson stays on as 'mentor'.

Either way its incredibly insulting to one of the best managers in the league.
