So i it was Germany playing South Africa, you would want Germany to win? Fuck the footy now, tennis ftw!
Germany is the logical team for England fans to support now. If you're gonna get beat, get beat by the winner.

Uruguay vs Ghana has gone to penalties. If Uruguay go though now that is cheating IMO

Minute 30 of ET Ghana vs Uruguay is one of the most dramatic i've ever watched.

Posted it in the wrong place ^^

I'm assuming you're referring to the handball? Which wasn't handball, because Appiah was offside from the freekick and header before hitting his shot.... ;)

Therefore, in actuality, Uruguay have been wronged because they don't have their leading goalscorer available for their semi final.

Yeah, but you are supposed to play to the whistle. ;)
I don't think anybody thought Appiah was offside until it showed the replay, and it was only a marginally offside decision.

It wasn't really that marginal, considering he was stood there for the second phase of play. When the linesman flagged and they blew up, it was what my initial reaction was that they were blowing up for.

And considering you're trying to make out that Ghana were hard done by, that attitude sort of completely fails because of it.

So now we have two changes to the rules. Goal line technology should be introduced and goals awarded for deliberate handball on the goal line. How about sensors placed in the socks of attacking players to detect offside. Something similar to tennis to see if the ball is out. Lets face it if England are ever going to win the world cup again we can't leave our fate down to uruguay officials, or a cheating argentinian.
