Diego Forlan

Post by winston_the_cat » Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:15 pm

He's just played one of the great individual World Cups, and has been immense for Atletico. So why on Earth was he so subdued at Man Utd? He is an absolutely fantastic player, but never showed it in England. Yet everywhere else he's been a star. And he doesn't fail to trun up for the big occasion...

Another question. Will any other clubs be looking to bring him back to the UK?

Anyway, my player of the tournament. By quite a distance too.

I think he's already said he definitely doesn't want to come back to the UK. CAn't remember where i read that, but you can't really blame him after his pretty poor spell in the Premier League. Maybe he just didn't settle well here.

It isn't an excellent idea at all. It's a waste of valuable time that we could spend persuing realistic targets.
