Well, Big Sam won't want to be taking over there now will he? And after he was just about to head over there too!

Didn't even know that was a rule.

Can't have been on the books too long as there are plenty of players who have transferred internationally before they were 18.

Just read article 19 which explains 'tis fine for EU between 16-18.

First Neymar and now this... almost venkyesque.

It would have to be, cause EU law states you can work where you like in the EU.

I think you might want to be careful saying things that imply the owners have committed some kind of financial impropriety given the complete lack of any such evidence (or indeed rumours). Where did that come from?

Wasn't suggesting anything of the sort.

Right. Just pointed that out because the Neymar transfer was an issue of financial irregularities.

And as far as I'm aware we haven't been signing up young children to work in the club shop

That would explain the appalling performances. Apart from that keeper (although he had width on his side).

The blue team were good last night. Scored 9 out of 10, the one miss was just narrowly wide.

Damn it. 6 goals AND a decent penalty shoot out. What a game to miss.

See what you mean to be honest. I was more meaning the naivety of Barcelona was a bit reminiscent of our owners early days (or at least the caricature of them painted by the press and fans) and not really what you expect from the worlds richest football club.
