Maybe you could just leave a request for one of your descendants to do it and save yourself some effort. :yeahright:

I wouldn't trust a teleporter not to destroy my soul.

Here's the problem with teleportation. Assuming a device could be invented, which would identify the quantum state of matter of an individual in one location and transmit that pattern to a distant location for reassembly. You would not have actually transported the individual, you would have destroyed him in one location and recreated him in another. Personally, I would never use a transporter because the original RTT would have to be disintegrated in order to create a new RTT.

Why would you, the new RTT, care less though?

It's difficult to know what to say when you quote a TV show and someone responds with a question that isn't the next line... :D

I hadn't forgotten, but it's still a quote from a TV show. :D

Of course - if the teleporter utilised wormholes...

Is using wormholes really teleporting, though? It may have the same end result in getting you somewhere else in the universe, but you've got to pass through the wormhole rather than be instantly transported from the spot you're standing on. If that's teleporting, then I teleport everywhere I walk, roughly a yard at a time. :yeahright:

No. Well, it could be. But not one I've seen. And certainly not one you'd have seen without a telly.
