Yep. Transporting, a bit like the transporter in Star Trek isn't. :D

Depends, if you get into string and m-brane theory where there are eleven dimensions, wormholes are really just transferences through the calabi yau shape of the higher dimensions; or possibly even a jump between branes if you get into boundary physics. Which may or may not be teleportation. Glad I cleared that one up.

Eh?

"Glad I cleared that one up" - "I knew you would" - "You knew I'd make a joke?"

I know, hence why I put a little laughing head and responded with equal irony to your comedic false claim that you'd given a proper answer. I knew you would(n't) clear it up. :?

You'll be delighted to hear that if the government has it's way you'll soon be paying an entertainment levy regardless of whether you have TV or not. :?

It makes sense. The licence fee revenue isn't just for TV and we still have to pay taxes towards other things we don't use or want. Of course, I'd rather make the other things pay as you go instead.

Public service broadcasting is important and worth paying for - whether the current TV Licence / BBC approach is the right one is another thing entirely.

Interesting this... http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check-if-y ... icfeespend

They spend almost as much sending me those pseudo-threatening letters suggesting imminent prosecution as they do on their web stuff

But basically, it's mostly TV innit.
