My fiancée is winning me round to comic book films. First there was the excellent Deadpool, then last night we watched Doctor Strange. A nice pace to the story, great effects/CGI and some funny moments too. Much better than men wearing their underpants over their trousers and still trying to be serious...

A History of Violence, The Road to Perdition and Persopolis are great too.

Not a comic film, but I found this a while ago and actually quite enjoyed it. The full film was on youtube somewhere. :)

Saw Star Wars Rogue One last night. Excellent film, even better than Force Awakens was.

Reigniting an old thread to say just how much I love the Greatest Showman. Sure it’s a musical and it was released to pretty lukewarm reviews, but since I first saw it the songs are pretty much stuck in my head most of the day and I’d say that more than anything is the sign of a good musical!

Can’t say I’ve enjoyed a film this much for a few years at least. If you haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend it. The soundtrack itself is incredible too.

Whichever scene they are in I can’t help but be drawn to the albino twins!

My top three songs would be From Now On, This Is Me and Come Alive. Guaranteed to make your feet tap!

Igor’s favourite film too, and I enjoyed it, even if it completely fictionalises Barnum’s life. :D
