Did anyone watch the F1 at Spa in Belgium. What a great ending! Glad that Hamilton one and increses his lead over Felipe Massa to 8 points. The rain made it like a completely different race.
Couldn't get more dramatic when the rain came.

Yeah, those last few laps were brilliant. I think i'd have brought Kimi in for some new tyres though if i was Ferrari. He was never going to regain the lead once Lewis had pulled away a bit, and obviously wasn't too comfortable in the rain and proved it by spinning into the wall.
Good work by ITV on the website though, I'm liking their 'top 50 pit babes'

That's it with ferrari though. They would rather have a risk and try to win than play safe and come third. The 50 best pit babes is very nice.

Lol!! Who do you think will win the Drivers Championship

I honestly can't see it being anyone but Hamilton. Massa's still doing well, but Hamilton's looked a bit more reliable and consistent and i reckon he can stay top till the end now. Still 5 races left though, so i suppose anything could happen.

Yeah, id say Hamilton. But its Ferrari country next, and it only takes 1 engine blow up for Lewis and the tables will turn. And Mclaren are due some reliability issues. As for Kimi not pitting, Ferrari couldnt bring him in to pit for inters , as he lost the lead, regained it, spun and lost the lead again and then crashed out all on the same lap. So they didnt get the chance to pit.

Harsh. I'd be very surprised if McLaren didn't appeal that. Yes he did cut the chicane and overtake Kimi, but he did let him through again straight away.
(Quick work by the stewards though, the FA would have taken 3 months to make that decision

I dont know whats going on there. He didnt really have a choice as it seemed like raikanon was cutting him up. And yeah mclaren should appeal it because thats a load of crap and they obviously just looking for any excuse to strip hamilton of his points. the belgian bastards :disagree:

harsh is an understatement! its a fucking Joke! im fuming at this! Kimi run Lewwis off the road! so Lewis had to cut the chicane!
FIA might aswell call themselves FerrArI.
Not only Lewis got a 25 second penalty, Heikki got a drive through penalty for nudging Webber off. What happened to "a racing incident" If Heikki got a penalty for that, that would mean everyone should be done for any contact! He didnt ram him intentionally! No one does that except M.Schumacher (and Senna, but he was allowed in my view as he did it to Prost)
And where the hell did the figure 25 seconds come from ? that was just enough to ut Lewis behind Heidfeld. If he got a very normal 10 second penalty he would have still won.

Glock got a penalty too for ignoring yellow flags
I've just seen the Hamilton incident again on the news. I'm not 100% sure he did actually let him pass again. Lewis slowed down, but i think he floored it again when Kimi was level rather than ahead of him.

Yeah but Lewis tucked back in behind Kimi before turn 1. If Lewis's car was right up behing Kimi's car, this surely means he let him pass ?

It's obvious why he got the penalty, the bosses at F1 prefer Ferrari to McLaren. Look at the last grand-prix before Spa, Massa did something coming out of the pits, think it was forcing another driver out of the way but he doesn't get a penalty. Hamilton had to swerve to get out of the way of a crash. Also, the stewards say he got momentum but he had to slow down to let Raikkonen through so he was obviously going slower. Also, Raikkonen crashed so it didn't make a difference. If it was a Ferrari, I could guarentee that there would be no penalty!

Spot on mate, and when your a Mclaren fan, it really fucks me off!
