Random comment completely at random: :)
Adele. Do we have to like her?

Okay she's got quite a nice voice (nothing outstanding in my view).
I heard Adele sing five or six songs on tv from a concert in the Albert Hall. I lost interest especially during her embarassing rambling tales in between songs.
Then she started singing a tune that I've got on record sung by Bonnie Raitt the american guitar player / singer.
For me, Adele's version of I Can't Make You Love Me fell well short of Bonnie raitt's version.
- in my 'umble...

She was even more dull before beardy Rick Rubin got hold of her.

Do we have to know who she is? It's hard to get away from the name at the moment, and I've been made aware over the past few months that she's the vocal basis for a couple of mediocre pop songs that get played to death. Wouldn't recognise her in the street though... She's in the news today because apparently someone thought it was a better idea to have some music at a music awards ceremony instead of letting her have a luvvie moment. Maybe they were wrong, the Brit Awards is hardly entertainment for people who like music. I don't see it as a choice of liking her or not, that would involve having an interest...

I find it hard to care about the birt awards at the best of times, but it did strike me this year that a small group of hideously over priviliged arseholes getting pissed and lairy on national TV celebrating their own smugness isn't really in keeping with the times.

I think Adelle is quite a talented soul singer myself. Couldn't care less about her personality.

With regards to Adele, I'm very, VERY bored of hearing about her now...

She's won her awards now please can she A) fuck off entirely or B) write a song that doesn't make me feel as depressed about life as Moon's outlook on the Rovers.

Good voice just so, so, soooo, dreary.

My laptop plays 'Someone like you' every time I switch it on.

I think it's because it's A Dell...
