Running

Post by mrblackbat » Mon Jul 09, 2012 2:54 pm

Howdy, I'm doing the Birchwood 10k in August and trying to raise some cash for the Red Cross, I haven't done any running since I was a kid and currently 7 weeks into a training plan.

Hoping to do it in around 50 minutes, which seems a decent target, currently I'm pacing just over 5 minutes a kilometre for about 8km.

Anyway, if you would like to sponsor me, please do so at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/matthewdarwin

Cheers!

Just over a week to go now; did 10k yesterday in 48:43, so hopefully should get the race under 50 minutes as well!

Yeah I think I'll save that for reincarnation. Got to keep it interesting, right?

Are you going to helmet cam it or not?

If so you need to get that time down to a snappy 30 minutes as I have a very limited attention span. I'm not sure I can be arsed to sit through an extra 18 minutes of blackbat the movie - unless you edit in some zombies or explosions.
