Incidentally, nothing really exciting happened; aside from two very nice arses, a bloke puking and a sprint finish.

Best way is to do intervals, have a look around online and there's quite a few plans about to get you up for a 10k. If you stick to them you'll be right in about eight to twelve weeks.

We also bumped into the guy who won on the day on the train back Ito Manchester, he did the whole thing in 30:56. I was just through 6k by that point.... :|
