Your best Cards Against Humanity plays

Though you have to be on the honour system for having actually played them in a game!

The game itself sounds quite fun... sifting through the cards trying to pair up jokes on your own sounds like possibly the most pointless activity in history.

Yeah, but I do know people that have done it. The game is great, especially when two people are convinced that their answer is the wrongest and they're unhappy they didn't win.

I think my best hand so far is: "What are you giving up for lent?", "Grandma".

So for him, 'Happy Birthday Grandad!' wouldn't be as bad?

I think either would be just plain weird. Unless you actually were with the grandparent in question at the time, in which case it would be the incest that was wrong, rather than what was said... if you are having sex with your grandfather on his birthday, "Happy Birthday Grandad!" is probably an appropriate thing to say... The worst thing has got to be something that would be bad to say anyway... maybe "your mum/daughter/grandma was better"... :yeahright:

I just assumed that the comic intended to suggest the speaker were in the middle of coital relations with the the relevant grand parent.

Granted, I had to try and imagine I were from Burnley for a second to make the necessary connection, but even so.

Yes. And that to me is why it doesn't work, it's a struggle to imagine it happening in real life. It's Frankie Boyle "humour", saying something disgusting rather than funny. Now maybe that's what the objective of the card game is, in which case blackbat's question and answer would be fine, I guess. But if the aim is to be funny, I'd be more amused by someone trying to give up, say, doors for lent. As I can picture a number of comedy situations that would arise from someone trying to struggle for six weeks without ever using a door...

Cards Against Humanity website wrote:The game is simple. Each round, one player asks a question from a Black Card, and everyone else answers with their funniest White Card.
Are we back to defining words by opinions again? ;)
