On another note, I've seen lots of wanky posts about Obama being the greatest president ever, yadda yadda yadda.

Am I the only one who thought he was a bit of a lame duck? Lots of talk, not a lot of delivery.

I think Obama was too cautious in his first two years, when he actually had the weight of congress to accomplish things. He should have done much more, but I think he did better than most.

I strongly suspect the revisionist view will end up being similar to JFK; and he'll mostly be remembered for implementing a healthcare system that ultimately failed.

He's admitted as much

There's actually a big flaw in the system, that's part of the reason for the demonstrations - Hillary won more votes than Trump:

but the nominee system works on a different judgement ...

Greatest ever, not at all... FDR / Truman / Lincoln perhaps and that's just as an outsider.

Probably more a reflection on how low the bar has got than actual performance. He wasted all his political capital on the affordable care act... But it was still probably the right thing to do. The state of healthcare in the richest country in the world was an embarrassment, and to try and fail is still better than to pretend it's not an issue

It was the right goal, but implemented pretty poorly all things cobsidered.

As with all these systems, the alleged flaws influence the voting. People weren't voting to see which was the most popular choice across the country, they were voting to pick who their region wanted to elect. Whilst they might sound like the same thing, the difference is, if you're in an area that always leans one way or the other, you may feel it's not that important to vote because it's not going to affect the outcome.

Talk about logic, can anyone explain to me the reasoning behind this?

The 'No's' are all the ones he has business ties with. Link

Let's face it. The man's a greedy, corrupt, narcissistic, egomaniacal fuckbucket.

Iraq zero you say? Officially over 32,000 Americans were killed in Iraq since 2003 - probably not all of them by friendly fire

Yeah, but they were killed by bombs and landmines and bullets, not Iraqis... :detective:

I suppose they think Pan Am 103 just fell out the sky too? I hate it when people use obvious bullshit to back up criticism I agree with, the truth makes a much stronger argument... :x

They have missed 'on american soil' off the description - an important distinction but correct to do so when you're talking about a ban on people entering the country.
