Yeah - bad week all round. Could be worse, neither of us has Odell Beckham Jr.

He’s hardly been setting the world alight this season anyway, I should know. Antonio Brown has been disappointing also.

Bit annoying that when you make a transfer of a guy in your team it puts him on the bench rather than in your team..... ultimately wouldn't have made a difference as not having the time to log in meant I left a guy with a by in... but still annoying.

Rodgers out with a suspected broken collarbone. Ouch! There goes Green Bay’s season!

Must be a nightmare for the NFL bosses, Beckham Jr, Watt and Rodgers gone in a two-week span. Horrific.

Seems like it... It was suggested by the commentators last night.

Would like to see it personally... Not really fair on hundley (number 2 who played last night), but I think in the absence of a genius like Rodgers, kaepernik could come in with his running game and offer something a bit different.

Main reason it won't happen is that green bay have lost so many players to injury that bringing in a 25 year old Joe Montana is unlikely to save their season, so why not give your young player a try?

Edit: I should say that I hope we sign him as an f. you to a certain president, but I figured my credentials as a bleeding heart liberal a well established at this point, but my grudging respect for kaepernik's ground game isn't.

It feels like we're entering a dodgy time for me and the Packers... The will inevitably be editorials galore about this in the next few days, which opens a window for someone at the club to say something distasteful.

Nobody is going to give Kaepernik a spot now he’s suing the league for collusion under the CBA (collective bargaining agreement).

He believes team owners have been conspiring to keep him out of the NFL and to be honest I can’t say they haven’t been. He’s better than at least 10-12 starting QBs in the league and far better than most backups. He even had a pretty good season for the 49ers last year (15th in QB rating).

Will be interesting to see if some emails or evidence has leaked that has forced his hand because I don’t think he’d do this without any.

although if the rest of the league colluded to make it attractive for Green Bay to sign him then it wouldn't look like there was collusion any more...

:paranoid:

Tony Romo is a decent shout although I have been really enjoying his brand of commentary, after years of the woeful Phil Simms.

He’s a Wisconsin native also but he’s had injury concerns and Green Bay’s line is going to get any QB killed the way they are playing.

I think even with Kaps mobility you’d struggle to keep him upright.

This really is a league wide problem this season. Offensive line play has been pretty woeful and I’ve had a few conversations with other fans about it. The Patriots are giving up more hits to Tom Brady than they have in two seasons and on red zone game after game I’m seeing terrible O-line play. Now I don’t know whether this is a talent problem, that defensive linemen and schemes have got so much better or whether it’s coaching? One thing that could be a factor is the distinct lack of physical contact in training now. It’s severely limited and its made me wonder whether this is a factor in the bad O-line play.

Gotta say I didn't think you'd get that many points from Succop last night.
