I'm studying Podiatry, Salford is decent for it
And aye, by all means Dunn. We can have a couple of beers. Nice to have a Rovers fan somewhere around.

Gutted!
Picked a nice place on city loft to live in, unique luxary one bedroom.
Bearing in mine my mrs is a teacher doing her masters seems hell bent on a two bedroom in the city centre which is a maisonette, partially for her shit like resources and clothes!
Just applied for a undergrads job in manchester hoping all might i might get called in! My flat my rules!

What did you study and where?
Re: Picking a University.
Computer Science at Lancaster. A really nice campus uni in a good area too, just lacking slightly on jobs for anyone who wanted to stay local afterwards.

Re: Picking a University.
Ah sounds good, was the night life any good there?
Re: Picking a University.
It was ok, it wasn't a massive city so it was never going to be on the scale of somewhere like Manchester, but there were loads of pubs, bars and night clubs and the student union night club. I know a few people who came from big cities that weren't too keen on the nightlife, but to be honest i didn't see any problems with it at all. Plus, being a campus uni spilt into colleges, there were 9 bars on campus
(although sadly I think most have closed now or operate very limited opening hours)

Re: Picking a University.
Sounds pretty good to be fair mate.
I'm down in Luton where there is a lack of clubs so you most nights out are in the same place but at least you get to see everyone.
I'm situated right next to the town centre too so everything is within walking distance. For a lack of clubs here though it's actually pretty good and i find the people you're with make it better. I enjoy Luton more than Blackpool nights out nayway

Re: Picking a University.
Yeh not the greatest place mate, i was one grade off Leeds which was my own fault because i pissed about too much in the first year but oh well. I do actually really enjoy it there but i'd say it's the people i'm with rathed than the actual place.
I think the fact everything is within walking decent is a great thing too!
