Re: The US sports thread
Good weekend for me, couldn't have gone much better! Demarco Murray is turning out to be an early season disappointment for me though but the Titans in general have been a disappointment for all the hype.
Onwards and upwards!

Re: The US sports thread
Excellent news... I've worked out how to change my lineup!

I don't really get the bench. If a player doesn't play do they get subbed out automatically?
Re: The US sports thread
I've been assuming not... But I don't actually know.
You can swap players who haven't started their match Even if other games are underway.

No they don't - you need to keep an eye on injuries, bye weeks, matchups and form.

I don't understand the bench then.
Re: The US sports thread
They are there for when the bye weeks happen and to cover for injuries or bad matchups. You might wanna swap out your flex RB who is up against the no.1 run defence next week for a WR who is at home against the worst pass defence in the division for example. You wouldn't want to trade your star RB when they are on a bye week because someone else might just pick them up in the meantime if they are so inclined. You need a bench. Choosing which of your bench to play and when is half the fun.

Maybe I just don't know enough of the back story, but that just seems like a rambling rant to me.Gibbon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:17 amShannon Sharpes excellent opinion piece on 'Taking the Knee' courtesy of Fox sports Undisputed.

Interesting. I would have said impassioned rather than rambling, and for a live to camera piece, I think he makes his points well.Rover the Top wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:10 amMaybe I just don't know enough of the back story, but that just seems like a rambling rant to me.Gibbon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:17 amShannon Sharpes excellent opinion piece on 'Taking the Knee' courtesy of Fox sports Undisputed.

Maybe it's just how it reads in the transcript then. It all seems a bit staccato with sentences not being finished properly. Having read it again, I think I get the point - that he's disappointed that the NFL players didn't protest until Trump said something about the ones who did.Gibbon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:25 pmInteresting.
