I have known Maceo for a long time, a very long time. He has influenced me on many thing, on many things. The influences he gives are the best influences. Maceo can be very influential, and trust me, I know about being influential. His influence is bigly on matters of great importance, and has taken us from the small leagues to the big league. That is why I am issuing an executive order to curb the influences of the past, and to Make Maceo Rigters Great Again!

Don’t win today and 2nd is the best we can do. I’ll take that.

Right now, Plymouth have all the answers to our questions, and can't seem to get any creativity going. They definitely looked like the superior squad out there now. Doesn't help that as soon as opposing players touch, it seems the ref calls a foul on Rovers.

I really haven't seen anything positive from long balls. They are either getting intercepted or out of bounds. They are pressing Rovers like crazy right now, and Williams and Bell are not having the best game right now.

Hopefully there is a half time substitution to get Graham off for Samuel, because I don't think I saw anything promising from Graham today.

We need to get a goal back straight away and then push on from there while they're reeling.

Its difficult to fathom how big a difference the performance is between Tuesday and today. There's just nothing creative happening. Rovers get the ball, pass it round ineffectually, lay it back to Downing who is limited to smashing the ball forward towards Graham. On the occasions that these ball haven't been wayward or won by the defender (approx. 80% of the time) the rest of the time there is either no support or Graham's touch has deserted him. And this has been Rover's only game plan. When we have gone wide, the final ball has been so poor. I think I understand the logic behind bringing Conway in, he's usually very good at covering his full back but it's not been evident so far. Can't see us getting back into this.

2 fouls where a Plymouth player falls down, and its a foul. I am getting really tired of this.

with Wigan up 2-0, & Shrews in scoreless tie, we didn't need to lose ground today

Nine yellows and they still didn't red card him? He should have been sent off four and a half times! :o

Looking like a loss now. Rovers were just woeful in the first half, which doesn't help anyone. Second half they turned it up a bit, Samuel seemed like the game changer we needed, but don't think there was enough time for him to do anything.

Nuttall, once again, was a bit underwhelming. I am amazed Mowbray used him instead of Payne. I think he started to get it right with the more direct game, but it only took until half time to change it, and that is a bit dangerous.

Overall, it was a poor showing. The ref called nearly anything where a player went to the ground, Rovers had two lapses defensively which resulted in goals for Plymouth, and felt like there wasn't a solid gameplay going into this match.

Shame. But there have been occasions where we've played badly and won during the run, so we were due a reality check. Now we have to bounce back.

We lost this before a ball had been kicked. Mowbray was worried about an attacking threat ftom Plymouth and this looks to have been passed on to the players. He dropped Payne to start with and his substitutions were ridiculous. Take Graham off for a player who doesnt look like scoring. Bring on Evans and again another player who doesnt look like scoring. After the game Mowbray admits he should brought on Payne...should have started him.
