That's what Baylor Bears are for fool, I don't acknowledge the school that gave Cleveland Colt McCoy.

Rovers were excellent tonight, no one had a bad game, although Antonsson was quiet. Samuel was lively too. I prefer Graham, but Samuel will do for me as sub. The first ten minutes were ferocious, I thought we were going to score ten, but with ten Bradford men packing their penalty area it was never going to be easy. Bradford weren't that bad but Rovers were a division better.
The great thing since the beginning of the season is that we have quality players (not jobbing reserves) challenging for virtually every position. Despite what most people say I've always believed Evans to be a weakness in the squad, but playing as he did last night Mowbray must have a grin from ear to ear. Picking our best eleven must be a struggle.
I might be getting a bit ahead of myself, but next season I'd like to see young Wharton back in the squad. Downing is ok, but with Mulgrew, Wharton, Williams and Lenihan we have a multitude of riches at centre back.

Threw away a lead at Rochdale.
Wigan as expected humped Oldham at home.

3-1! Well played Rochdale!

The award of a pen and then having it chalked off. Followed by a break away goal from your corner has to hurt. Hopefully they start to fall away a bit now. We need to apply that pressure by winning next.

The way I see it, assuming we win out the rest of the season, the only teams who could give Wigan a scare and give us the title are Pompey away and Rotherham away (though the latter have fallen away recently).
I’d really love us to win the title, firstly as a Rovers fan given all the hurt of recent seasons and secondly to violently thrust Grigg and Cook’s arrogant words down their throats. I’d hate to see them win on goal difference too, which it could come down to.

Mad four minutes there in the Shrewsbury game.

Apparently it was the correct decisions to overturn the penalty.

Shrewsbury will be cursing the football gods. Nsiala carried off with a facial injury and they are already without two other first teamers via a couple of sending offs. Both Rovers and Wigan will be delighted with the Rochdale win but both will have to be careful themselves. Rovers have to go to Charlton who are enjoying a honeymoon period with caretaker manager Lee Bowyer and have to host Peterboro who are chasing a play off place. Bristol Rovers away will be tricky.

Rochdale's third was very easy ion the eye. The Shrews sent their goalkeeper forward in the last minutes, the ball was kicked over his head and the Rochdale cf outsprinted him to score. I could watch that again and again.

If Colt was still there, I like to think he would be better than what they’ve had. He’s had what, 1 start the last 5 years, & won that (vs Dallas)

For real, his most notable achievement is throwing ZERO touchdowns in a 34-14 win against New England in 2010. And the season he was giving the starting reigns, he went 4-9. And no, I would consider players like Jason Campbell, Johnny Manziel, Josh McCown, and Robert Griffin III better QBs than Colt.WacoRover wrote: ↑Mon Apr 02, 2018 4:03 pmThor,Thorisgodpoo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 5:20 amThat's what Baylor Bears are for fool, I don't acknowledge the school that gave Cleveland Colt McCoy.

But far less “baggage” than RG & Manziel. He wasn’t picked in 1st round, either.Thorisgodpoo wrote: ↑Mon Apr 02, 2018 5:38 pmFor real, his most notable achievement is throwing ZERO touchdowns in a 34-14 win against New England in 2010.
