A win here will practically seal Rovers fate to promotion.

Yeah if Shrewsbury won all 4 games we need 7 points, so two wins and a draw from our remaining games.

We gave them 2 chances two claw back 4 points and they didn't take them, so hopefully their loss to Charlton is the kick up the arse we needed to refind our mojo on the pitch, particularly our free scoring.

Peterborough will be bang up for this and need a win for the play offs, but so are we, so should be a lively game.

It can all change very quickly if we're not at it. A loss tonight and Shrewsbury beating Bury on Saturday and suddenly it's very uncomfortable again.

Annoying I can't get to the Charlton or Oxford games but going to Doncaster so hoping for a promotion party there :hyper:

A draw will not be a major problem to both teams. The fear of losing the game may cancel each other out. It is Peterboro who need to win the game more but it is Rovers who really do not need to lose. Yup one point more means a six point advantage and far superior goal difference over Shrewsbury who after Tuesdays game with Charlton looked poor.

Sounds like Evans will be fit to play today which should be a boost and interesting comments Mowbray has said on Dack that he seems to be over his hamstring niggles and was back to showing his best in training yesterday.

So hopefully he's due a performance that's made him the best player in the league and Armstrong I think has been trying his best in a couple of duff performances from the team, so hopefully he can get back in the goals tonight.

Posh recent form hasn’t been anything to write home about. Rovers are simply a better club, & at home, trying to seal promotion. If that sounds arrogant, so be it.

3 pts expected today.

Evans is one of our players, promotion or no, I do not expect him in the Blue & White next season.

Just win, baby.

WE SHALL BE VICTORIOUS! :hyper:

Though this was the one remaining fixture I had marked as particularly tricky. :paranoid:

Yes, I do not want Rovers going to The Valley, needing 3 pts. I am not taking Doncaster for granted, but we need to show the form tonight for a full game, that was not shown the last 2 times on the pitch.

It would be nice to see 18,000+ at Ewood, as well. Reward these players for a “job well done” (so far)

We won't get 18,000 while it's on tele.
Mowbray has to resolve the problem whereby we allow teams to hammer us in the last ten minutes. Perhaps it's a psychological thing , possibly about not wanting to lose, but as always, the best means of defence is attack.
If Mr Samuel doesn't find his shooting boots soon he'll be on the bus out with Evans, Whittingham and Gladwin.

Will be happy will 0-0 at HT. first 7 - 8 mins superb. After that shocking. Pass wayward. Not creating anything now. I’m getting worried.

I can’t believe this, after the last two games. We fall apart right at the end at Bristol, and we fall apart at the half at home against posh.

I sense automatic promotion is slipping away
