Re: Sack race
And Stoke brought him in to replace Hughes, who now has Southampton on the brink of staying up...Gibbon wrote: ↑Sat May 05, 2018 2:40 pmStoke relegated.Gibbon wrote: ↑Sun Apr 22, 2018 4:16 pmSurely LOLambert has to go soon. He's completely failed at Stoke.
I can guess what Lambert probably meant to say here, but GUFFAW!

Re: Sack race
I know and a large percentage of Stoke fans seem to loathe him for being sacked! I don’t get it, didn’t he get them two top 10 finishes. Ridiculous decision.
I don’t think either Stoke or West Brom would have been relegated under their previous managers. And Pulis will probably get Middlesbrough promoted...

Re: Sack race

Re: Sack race
Butterfly effect innit. Could have been anyone else in the bottom half.
Re: Sack race
I'd suggest that applies to your prediction of them staying up too. If you can't say for certain who is going down then there isn't much chance you can predict everyone who is staying up

Re: Sack race
Not surprised to see Sam go but slightly surprised by West Ham not giving Moyes a new deal.

Re: Sack race
Mark Hughes sacked by Stoke
Sam Allardyce sacked by Everton
Paul Lambert sacked by Stoke (ok by mutual whatever)
Owen Coyle sacked by Ross County
But Roy has done ok at Palace and Gary B done similarly on the seaside. Mark Hughes redeemed himself at Southampton.
Alan Irvine (obviously on loan from Rovers has he is still with us) and Billy Mckinlay where sacked at West Ham. But good news from Brunei as last heard Steve Kean was still doing well with his pub team. Tim Sherwood has taken a break from bring sacked this season. Alan Shearer got the best job.

Re: Sack race
Not sacked but today Gary Bowyer walked away from Blackpool. Story is he was using his own money to pay for the training facilities at Fulwood. Top bloke and deserves a chance with another club were he has more support from the owner.
