Ticket Prices
Ticket Prices
Afternoon guys,
I'm focusing my research project on ticket prices in English football and to see how commercialisation of English football affects supporters in attending live football matches.
May interest you that the Premier League (95%) has a higher attendance utilisation than Germany (90%).
Please could you take 3-4 minutes to complete this short survey. It's multiple choice so no brain power needed.

I'm more than happy to respond to any questions about the survey or the project.
Cheers in advance.

Re: Ticket Prices
How do Rovers stand in the league table of ticket prices?
I have a pal who supports Macclesfield and he paid more for non league football last year than I am paying for Championship soccer in 1918/19.
Something which we should be grateful to Venkys for. Can't help thinking that if someone else bought Rovers we would be paying double what we are now.

But...prices were released already?mrblackbat wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 10:30 pm1918/19? I reckon you should cash in on your time machine technology!
Of course you wouldn’t be so pedantic as to suggest that ‘I’m paying’ in this context must be taken ‘I’m currently paying’ rather than the equally acceptable ‘I’m going to be paying’.

It's 2018 Gibbon.

Yes. Yes you are.
Maybe I'm missing something though. Maybe the Finnish civil war has just ended.

Re: Ticket Prices
I wonder if ticket prices were so dear due to the suspension of pro football?
Apparently we finished bottom. Sigh.

Arrrgh! Never post, or indeed try to think, when trying to juggle a 18 month lunatic and a 6 year old. Half term, bah!
*Juggling kids is perfectly acceptable, just so long as they’re not on fire.

BBC did a massive survey for the 17/18 season (that's now, not 100 years ago).stillgrowling wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 7:23 pmHow do Rovers stand in the league table of ticket prices?

Maybe the Macclefield fan pays extra so he doesn't have to see them play?Dan wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 10:15 amBBC did a massive survey for the 17/18 season (that's now, not 100 years ago).stillgrowling wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 7:23 pmHow do Rovers stand in the league table of ticket prices?

Re: Ticket Prices
Well, I get pensioner rates, perhaps my pal doesn't. Last season I paid £199 for my seat in the JW stand, and £216 for the forthcoming season, - he simply said 'I paid more than that at Macc'
Strange how people picked up on my 100 year ricket, and less than punctilious grammar, but not my comment re Venkys.
