Where are they now?
Re: Where are they now?
I might be remembering it wrong - but I though his was the classic case of claiming he wanted to leave for champions league football... then going to west ham after no offers came in... either way I don't disagree with your assessment... it's basically how the story in the article pans out as well... his general character is essentially the cause of his downfall.
Still, if we're going to worry about footballers being arseholes there isn't much left for us in the modern game.

On the subject of bad attitudes:
Croatia forward Nikola Kalinic 'kicked out of World Cup squad' for refusing to come on against Nigeria https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foo ... 04126.html

Sat sitting watching t'telly as a lot of skilfull but oversensitive babies chase a bag of wind in Russia, I can see Nzonzi and Diouff (sp?) but who else graced our beloved turf at Ewood in their rise to fame and fortune...?
And Thursday will tell us just how good this version of the three Lions are....
Cheers!

Re: Where are they now?
I think there's three other ex-Rovers at the World Cup, or at least were there at the start - Nikola Kalinic who's been sent home for refusing to play against Nigeria, Martin Olsson and Phil Jones.
