Discuss all things Rovers related except...

Why are we playing Sheffield United and not Wednesday on a Wednesday?

The winds of truth have blown our sails in the direction to be United on a Wednesday

Getting 2 home matches in the matter of a week, and against a top 4 opponent right now.

I wish we were playing Wednesday, Sheffield United look very good at the moment.

Nyambe will be out so assuming Bennett slots in at RB which leaves a spot free for wide attacking midfield to accompany Dack and Reed. Guessing it'll be one of Armstrong, Palmer, Rotherwell or Brereton.

Expecting a line up along the lines of:

------------------Raya
Bennett Lenihan Mugrew Bell
----------Smallwood Evans
Reed--------Dack-----Armstrong
--------------Graham

Interesting comments from Mowbray on their style of play, playing 5 at the back with overlaps high up the pitch, if we can win the ball back and turnover possession quickly could have some joy utilising Armstrong's pace on the counter.

I love the unbeaten streak at home, but we really need to get some 3’s instead of 1’s. Maybe today is the day

Might see Bennett and Reed swap positions, but that could be a dynamic in game decision to try and confuse defenders. Otherwise, Evans might be on the bench due to his injury and Rothwell starting.

Is Evans a doubt?

If so I'd opt to but Reed alongside Smallwood and have Rothwell out wide. Sheffield United are going to be very tough opponents so I think we need to be as defensively solid as possible.

He was stated to have an injury from Saturday. So he will probably play, but it's a push since he has been so consistent this season.

No Mulgrew but Williams gets the start.

Team I thought it might be just Williams instead of Mulgrew.

Armstrong, game-winner. Put up, or shutup time.

Very much second best so far. Not as bad as the Derby game but we need to get a grip of their system.

Agreed, Rovers need a system change to adjust to the constant pressure. Lucky to be at 0-0 at half time. Might see Mulgrew come on and play 3 at the back, or even Rodwell if he has had enough time to play 3 at the back.
