Am I the only person who thinks replacing mulgrew with Hanley is a sideways step at best?
I see it more as giving us more options and depth, rather than a replacement. A bit of extra competition for the CB places can't be a bad thing.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Plus Hanley's got a massive head. He ticks Tony's box about defenders who can head it and aren't afraid to get stuck in.

Re: Rovers complete Conway capture

Conway calls time on club career. Sad to see him go, but I think he’d have been falling down the playing order this season. I imagine that's pretty much what he was told: Manager Tony Mowbray had offered Conway the chance to stay at the club, given his standing within the dressing room. “It was ful...

No more Craig Conway... :(
Probably for the best. He's been a great player and a hard worker, and may be missed, but I feel he's dropped down the order a bit now and we've got younger players coming through who are as good. All the best to him.

Re: TV shows that are ace

Looking at this (spoilers if you haven't seen it) it appears they have put a lot of effort into making parallels with previous events and episodes (some of which I got, some I totally missed), and possibly tried to cram them in while letting the storyline suffer and basic continuity go totally out t...

Start of August is perfectly normal, we kicked off on the first weekend last year too.

Re: Retained list.

I'm surprised at that, I honestly thought Leutwiler would be let go and a proven GK would come in to put pressure on Raya for the No1 shirt. Having said that, we haven't seen an awful lot of Leutwiler and when we have he's not done much wrong. I'd still like improvement in the GK position, but maybe...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

Article from The Telegraph about BBC employees that have been controversially sacked, or not, and a bit of background on the photo I saw it as a funny little monkey in a suit, didn't even cross my mind that it may be racist. Didn't even cross my mind that the baby is mixed race, or half American to...

Re: The Bolton chaos

As I said - when this happened years ago, that team't results were totally expunged. ie as if they had never -played a match. It happened to Chester City, but under slightly different circumstances. They were totally wound up and results for the season expunged, as I assume because it's impossible ...

Former Rover Josh Morris playing the villain for Scunthorpe at Plymouth. The keeper was injured and tried to play the ball out but Morris intercepted it and scored. Great finish though, and fair play to him. That was an equaliser in a huge game in a relegation battle, you take every chance you get....
