Who the hell opts out of televising their match?!?
Someone hoping to get more fans into the ground instead?

At a guess, with it being a rescheduled Saturday match, I imagine it falls outside any pre-agreed deals and therefore there's no extra income from Sky for it?

Booked players is always a balancing act. On one hand, you've got one of your first choice XI on the pitch playing well and it's silly to take them off for the sake of it when the sub may be better used elsewhere. You bring him off early and later on get someone else injured with no subs left, you'r...

Re: Charlie Mulgrew

It's a good thing, it's an experienced head in the dressing room to provide a bit of advice for the young patched-up defence. Add to that the fact that Evans is about to get a metal plate in his head and won't be back anytime soon, Charlie can easily play the defensive midfield role if needed. I don...

But I am afraid players like Pedersen or Freidel, I don’t see us getting that caliber of player anymore. MGP and Friedel were interesting ones, I still believe we got very lucky with both of them and they were a product of Greame Souness's "sign them first, scout them later" hit-and-miss transfer p...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Joe Nuttall is a big lad, maybe we should just try him in goal. Anyway, the East Anglian Daily Times seem to think the Ipswich 'keeper is on his way to Millwall. talks are at an advanced stage for Bialkowski to join Championship club Millwall on loan, with Lions striker Tom Elliott joining the Blue...

Re: Ticket Frustration...

It doesn't happen for every game, it's because it's a local derby, a 'higher risk' match. It's designed to stop PNE fans from setting up an account with the sole intention of sitting in the home end to cause trouble. You'd have been absolutely fine buying tickets for a game that was a very low secur...

Re: Birmingham City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 4 Jan 2020, KO 1231

:| Two games in a row our goalkeepers have arguably cost us the match. With one on loan and one not looking like first team material, surely a new GK is top of the shopping list? If not now then certainly for summer.

Had to do a bit of a double take reading this one. Got slightly excited for a minute and then remembered it wasn't 2005 any more.
