Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I don't know about red faced - personally I'd rather know the clubs intentions even if they don't all bear fruit... rather than wait until we sign someone and then claim that they were always the only player we were interested in which always feels a bit disingenuous.... I know there are plenty of p...

Re: Cycling

Funny couple of weeks for Ineios (sky)... Lost the two favourites for the tour in a week, and then Froome might have managed to bag himself a grand tour with a broken femur...

Am I the only person who thinks replacing mulgrew with Hanley is a sideways step at best?

Re: General Election

So... It's Boris for pm then... Regardless of how the MPs vote he seems a shoe in for the members based on this harrowing poll this morning... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D9VLZliW4AA-hoC?format=jpg&name=small Seemingly the only thing the Tories fear more than no Brexit is the looming Spectre of Comm...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

I can see how it reads that way in fairness... The satire inverted commas were more in reference to the way it is being used by people like Carl Benjamin... I.e. say offensive thing, mean it, if called on it claim satire

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

Basically what I said no? There is little other than context between the two comments and metaphorical or no I personally think they are both ill conceived... But if brand is out of line and worthy of criminal proceedings then so was Farage... And more importantly so will be be next time he inevitab...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

I'm struggling to see what the point in pursuing this is for Farage... It's obvious it was a joke made by a comedian, to another comedian on a satirical show... Contrasted to Farages own threat to 'Don khakis and a rifle' following the brutal murder of a remain supporting MP that he brushed off as '...

Re: Brexit....or in.

Yep... That's about it.

Although I didn't think 37 percent was that abnormal for a European election here. (Nearly 90 percent in Belgium... Don't think I've ever voted in an election with that level of turnout)

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Rovers again linked with Nantwich Town striker Joe Malkin and yes he is the son of former Tranmere striker Chris Malkin. Didn't Ian Wright come from humble beginnings before undoing Rovers in the play offs while at Crystal Palace before moving on to Arsenal and England. Sometimes you just have to g...

I don't want to break it to you - but there is this whole 'War' genre of film that you might want to avoid.

Re: TV shows that are ace

Dramatically the writers made a huge error in episode 3 - which would have been better placed as episode 6, as that threat had become the driving force of the whole series. I was thinking this actually... it could even have played out the same way - made it a redemptive act. Either way - concluding...
