Re: Is it time for owen to go??? Well he's gone

The time to get rid of Coyle was December at the latest and give a new manager time to look at players and see who he wanted to get rid of and who he wanted to bring in. What's happened now is a complete joke, new manager has to try and get Owen Coyle's team to play football. Ridiculous. I'm startin...

Re: Who do you want as manager next season?

Holloway went out to attack teams, the movement of the players in that team was brilliant to watch. The squad he had was full of average championship/league one players but they almost survived. Holloway could have decided to park the bus from the start of the season but I think they would have been...

Jensen signs new deal

Looks like we are sticking with the current management sadly. And I do sincerely hope I'm wrong about them.

Re: Rumours + Trialist talks

I'd like and/or expect to see the following happen seeing as we have a 'war chest'. Out: Steve Kean(sadly I don't think it will happen) In: Mark Hughes or some other good experienced manager. Out: Dunny, Grella, El Hadji Diouf(expected to happen), Givet(expect it to happen), Khish, Benjani and send ...

Ancelotti sacked!!!

Just heard it now. He says he would manage West Ham if they wanted him. I have a better idea Carlo, we sack Kean and you can stay in the Premier League.:D http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/may/22/carlo-ancelotti-sacked-manager-chelsea http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1389598/C...

Re: Relegation?

Well I always felt we were well respected over the last couple of years. Many fans of other clubs actually said to me that keeping the club up there under Hughes and Allardyce without having big funds got us respect.

Re: Relegation?

Are you kidding? It's always been like that to some extent, but it really kicked into gear once we appointed Big Fat Sam. No it kicked into gear when they sacked him because everybody felt he had done a good job here. Big Sam was not liked, I'm not saying he was but when he was sacked those that di...

Re: Relegation?

I was just reading on a pretty large soccer messageboard and they had a thread about the relegation and the amount of posters that were saying they'd love Blackburn to go down made me very sad. This is a new thing too, we were never disliked by fans of so many other teams. Its all started happening ...

Re: Steve Kean arrested for drunk driving

But you can finger stats to say anything you want. Last April we got 3 points in the whole month which would comfortably have us bottom of the form league in the run in with us showing relegation form, were the teams the same last season we'd have been in the thick of it, thankfully we weren't. At ...

Re: Steve Kean arrested for drunk driving

Is that you jumping in with an insult and nothing else? "Ifs and buts are no good" ...so far that makes sense... "if" ...but you've just said ifs are no good, so whatever follows is a waste of words? Seriously, this is much more interesting than going round and round why managers should/shouldn't b...

Re: Steve Kean arrested for drunk driving

Our manager has the second worst points total since he took over. Only Blackpool have a worse haul since Steve Kean became manager here, Avram Grant did better than him, so did Roberto Martinez and everybody else bar Holloway. And in fairness to Holloway he has a squad of players that nobody wanted ...

Re: Steve Kean arrested for drunk driving

There is another reason we are close to relegation, we are in the midst of the most exceptional relegation battles to date in the Premier League. Never has it been this close and at such a high tally of points. People point to Sam's last 21 games last season and Kean's this season. No pressure last...

All we've shown is relegation form under Steve Kean. Only reason we are not relegated is we had a manager who had some idea what he was doing for our first 17 games.
