Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Vardy is probably the shining most recent example of a player moving from Non-League straight to the Championship. It's lower risk financially but possibly a higher risk of them not cutting the mustard.

Re: TV shows that are ace

Internet hysteria to one side both season 7 and season 8 have been pretty poor considering seasons 1 to 6. It seem pretty evident that with no books to follow anymore the writers struggled to maintain the level of plot development. I don't have a particular issue with the ending or particular elemen...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Really hope this amounts to nothing, Brentford sniffing around as they're expecting to lose Bentley and therefore view Raya as a replacement first choice keeper. Mowbray also confirming he expects us to sign another goalkeeper I would sincerely hope he's given Raya full assurance that he'd be first ...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Brentford in for Raya. That is unexpected...now what do Brentford see in our keeper. He’s a very good keeper. Appreciate that he started to make a few errors in the last couple of months but overall given his age he is a very promising prospect. I also think some of the errors weren’t helped by a n...

Re: Retained list.

Seems like we're set to sign a few defenders then. As strange as it is to say it Mulgrew defensively is probably too suspect and would be below Williams in the pecking order as things stand. Not convinced Rodwell will be with us next season and even if he is not sure CB is where he should play despi...

Re: The 2019 Final Boogaloo: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea, Sun 5 May 2019, KO 12:30

Agreed. Relegated sides can still have decent players. For example I’d still think Nsiala would be an upgrade on Smallwood for example who I don’t think will be with us next season. Although Davenport did okay yesterday so in some ways having him and Samuel will feel like 2 new additions next season...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Very worrying to see rumours linking us with Joe Hart regardless of the Burnley connection he’s a goalkeeper who I’ve never thought is that good, very error prone and only getting worse. Would also feel like a step away from how we’ve been recruiting players under Mowbray. https://twitter.com/richs...

Re: The 2019 Final Boogaloo: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea, Sun 5 May 2019, KO 12:30

It’s been a good season, you can’t see it as anything but that in my opinion. Overall we’ve looked more than comfortable competing at this level, we’ve excelled against some of the best sides and also been found wanting at times. The game today encapsulated the season in some respects. We looked fin...

Dack 2-2 8-)

Is that now Graham and Dack level for the season as top scorer?

Take the lead then fall to pieces when Bennett has to go off. Don’t understand why it wasn’t a straight swap with Nyambe instead of moving Travis out there and bringing on Davenport.

Re: The 2019 Final Boogaloo: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea, Sun 5 May 2019, KO 12:30

Mowbray has said both Chapman and Davenport will be in the 18 and feature but not from the start so that may push out Butterworth and Buckley from the matchday squad.
