Probably true for previous seasons but when we have a preferable back 4, especially with Lenihan, then we're a pretty decent side.

Well that was quite the week with Rovers. Really impressive today especially after the nightmare start.

Interesting to see how he sets up the defence. Carter still looks quite shaky my preference would be bring Nyambe inside and JRC at RB.

Guessing it'll be the same starting XI with Pickering, Ayala and Nyambe not ready.

Buckley has been magic this season but will be a tough test tonight at RB.

Re: Wayne Rooney's Derby County v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 30 Oct 2021, KO when Frank Lampard gives the nod

Great win and I know we seem to make life difficult and nearly throw away another 2 goal lead but we got over the line. Got to look at the context overall, average starting age of our XI was under 23 I think and you've got one of our better midfielders at RB, a youngster on loan at CB and Edun who i...

Re: QPR v Blackburn Rovers, Tues 19th Oct, KO 19.45

I thought tactically it was spot on for the first half which was disrupted with Travis having to go off and shifting Edun out of midfield, despite him doing a good job there he was missed centrally especially on the goal. Very tight game not much in it and the one clear moment they had QPR scored. L...

Familiar feeling of being frustrated, twice we've dropped a 2 goal lead at home this season already which you just can't do.

We didn't deserve to be 2 up really but we were so you should then be getting the win from there.

Re: Blackpool v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 2 Oct 2021, KO when orange is the new black

I'd say expectations on this forum are generally pretty in check with reality.

Any Rovers fan needs to get used to seeing us concede a sack load of self-inflicted goals and lose a few games...

Re: Blackpool v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 2 Oct 2021, KO when orange is the new black

Feels like 2 separate issues are a bit conflated. Mowbray is certainly very guilty of overly rotating in certain positions when there are a lot of options available to him. Particularly central midfield and attack in the last 2 seasons. We've seen the chopping and changing of BBD and Gally on and of...
