Re: FA Cup - Sheff Utd v Rovers

I still don't see all the fuss about the handball decision. I agree that the law is the problem, but with VAR there referees are just implementing the law as currently stated. Therefore it was a clear penalty, it's been like that for a couple of seasons now in the Premier League now that they have V...

Re: FA Cup - Sheff Utd v Rovers

Hedges is inches from making it 1-3 as was Gally possibly so it's bit of a heartbreaker. Also if you wanted to whinge Robinson should have seen a second yellow in the first half and game should have been stopped before third goal. But oh well. Making myself feel better by knowing how anticlimactic a...

Re: Rovers v Reading

Should have been a bit more comfortable but good to get one over Reading after the thrashing earlier this season. Also good to see how well such a young squad is coping. Morton coming straight back in for Buckley and playing well, goals shared around again with BBD and Hedges this time. Would be gre...

Isn't it a nice coincidence that Kompany goes back to his former club though... :paranoid:

Sheff Utd away, as good a chance as we could have hope for to progress to next round.

Re: Leicester v Blackburn, Tue 28th Feb FA CUP

Didn't expect us to pull off another shock as although Leicester have been pretty poor this season they had picked up of late with some recent results. Ended up being quite annoyed when they scored as we should have already been about 0-5 to the good  Would be nice to get a decent draw so can f...

Re: Norwich win, Forest lost

January is normally unbeaten it's February when the shit hits the fan.

Very impressed with the win at Norwich, bit of a shame not to capitalise on the outstanding win at West Ham but no harm in being out of the cup.

Re: World Cup 2022

Yeah not too down about this one, we played really well and lost to the best team in the world to some very very fine margins.

Play that game 10 times over and we win more than we lose, that's football.

Hopefully Morocco can go all the way!
