Re: Quarantine in the Crock Pot Edition: Middlesbrough v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 24 Jan 2021, KO 1500
I can see both sides of the argument but the law for a red card in this incident would be the use of excessive force which endangers an opponent. I don't see the excessive use of force in Branthwaite trying to clear a bouncing ball. The injuries Fry sustained are horrible and nobody wants to see th...

Accidental can still be dangerous of course. I've only just seen it but you could easily see that being a sending off. It should have been a penalty clearly.

Pff, sack the pitch!
Some fans expect better of their pitches. Other pitches don't get waterlogged so why should this one? Pitch out!

Would comments about Jim'll fix it be inappropriate?

Do you mean Jim the farmer? He's a hoot.
Also, well done on the really early thread. Nobody would ever want to get rid of such skills.

Re: Rovers vs. Doncaster, FA Cup: Post-match
Get transfers? We can't afford to buy players of that quality and if you say no to loaning them in the short term, they end up at your competitors. The rich clubs can afford to have bigger academies - and they are 'bigger' clubs, they are by their nature more attractive to the kids and parents - and...

Maybe we should sack the thread starter. I mean is the consistency there? Maybe some fans expect better.

Re: Rovers vs. Doncaster, FA Cup: Post-match
The manager has assembled a half decent squad - sack him if he now doesn't achieve success? Because we need someone to whom we can waste more money to take us to the 'next level'? It's a fantasy that fans tell themselves to make it feel like there are easy and obtainable actions that have a concrete...

Re: Rovers vs. Doncaster, FA Cup: Post-match
I think you have unreasonable expectations of success. What makes us so special? Nothing at all as far as I can see. We're just another Championship club and happen to have a manager who has put together a team that is scoring more than any other in the league despite some injury issues and is a sol...
