Re: General Election

I think you've sidestepped the point I was making with the example there, but never mind... If Dan now says the Tiananmen Square massacre didn't happen, and you also ignore that to prove a point, and Gibbon said it didn't happen, and you ignored that, and blackbat said it, and so on, then you are b...

Re: General Election

I'm glad that you've got the right to say that even though you are an idiot. People ignoring you isn't brushing it under the carpet. If I worked for the Labour party (which I don't, just to be clear) then me ignoring your idiocy about Tienanmen Square (or indeed Tiananmen Square which is a whole oth...

Re: General Election

I think I reject the central premise that this was what occurred. And me saying as much isn't an example of the Labour party brushing it under the carpet - because I don't work for them. See what I did there? :D I've got no issue with freedom of speech for idiots. That's what this was. They sent the...

One Labour member in a constituency membership of 2000. If only the level of stupidity in the general population was that low.
Yes but this is just one of many recent incidents.

I think you're simply demonstrating my second point.
Not sure how - I don't work for the Labour party.

Re: General Election

Higher than 1 in 2000 certainly. Between 1% and 2% apparently believe the Earth is flat. I'd use that as a pretty good benchmark for mind bending stupidity which doesn't cause the downfall of society as we know it.

Re: General Election

Those 20,000 police are just to protect the fox hunting Tories from jolly awful animal rights protestors though.

Frankly, they will say anything to get elected. If they thought saying that they'd have a free vote on bringing back hanging would get them the gig, they'd be right in there. Venal AF.

Which is only made worse by doing stupid shit like trying to fire a pregnant woman over signing a letter to suspend Chris Williamson. Right? Or did you miss that bit?
I think that was just a couple of Labour members in that constituency being idiots.

Re: Brexit....or in.

Interesting argument. We don't know it from the referendum either on that basis. You can only work with what you have (which is far from 100% turnout in both). And every party will make what they want of it anyway and claim it's the will of the people. Hurrah for Irish passports.

Re: Brexit....or in.

As I said, I just want you to explain this.. That the country is still pretty much divided right down the middle. And Farage is still a tosser. Well, that we knew from the referendum result. How do we know what the country thinks now from a referendum result that was 3 years ago? Simple enough quest...
