Re: Bowyer leaves the club
A massive decision by the owners following a mediocre start to the season. Personally I think even a top manager who turns results around will struggle to make up the points gap and seriously challenge for a playoff spot this season (I hope I'm wrong). In terms of a new manager, the timing is intere...

Re: Fulham v Blackburn Sunday 13th Sept. 2015,K.O 12
I saw the 1st half and was only able to see the 2nd half in parts so may have a slightly limited perspective. We started the game looking defensively disorganised, being very lethargic on the ball and with the midfield not tracking Fulham's runners. This led to us conceding two very poor goals and h...

Disorganised at the back, players not tracking runners from midfield and very little impetus going forward. Deservedly 2-0 down.

Re: Your expectations
The thing is, the squad we have should not be relegation contenders. Our wage bill is considerable at this level, we have a number of senior internationals in the squad, an £8 million striker etc etc. The squad we had last season should have been serious playoff contenders, but underachieved. The ex...

Re: Your expectations
Bottom 6, with a squad nowhere near fulfilling its potential.

Re: Blackburn v Bolton Friday 28th Aug 2015, K.O. 19:45
It felt like the same old story again on Friday night. The team seem to start games attempting a more intricate passing style and create nothing. We then gradually abandon that tactic in favour of being more direct, at which point we start creating half chances (and generally not much more). Without...

Re: Blackburn v Shrewsbury Capital One Cup 11th Aug 2015, 19:45
I wasn't able to go last night but from many accounts it was similar to the Wolves game, with a performance appearing to lack any real urgency/ motivation. This is a worrying sign two games in to the season, especially from players who should be trying to stake a claim for a place at the weekend. Go...

Kim Bo-Kyung . We're reported to have offered him a contract pending a work permit. Been told today by someone that a deal has been signed (subject to work permit). He was supposedly spotted on Saturday morning training at Brockhall with Jordan "as long as I'm welcome you're stuck with me"...

Re: 2015-16 Season Rovers
So KPMG seem to have resigned as our auditors because 'the audit of your financial statements seem to fall outside the definition of a major audit and therefore your notification should be made to the ICAEW'. Any clarification RTT? Actually forget that, I just re read it and ICAEW is just the gover...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
If we sell Rhodes for the sums banded about, and given Cairney already going, the general drop in wages (along with still having PL parachute money) and 15/16 FFP rule relaxation, I would be shocked if we didn't comply with FFP this season. I reckon we might even make a profit. The ridiculous part i...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery
With the exception of Rhodes and Gestede, and excluding players who are no longer at the club (Cairney, Baptiste etc), total league goals scored last season is as follows:
Marshall - 6
Conway - 3
Henley, Taylor, Evans, Hanley, Duffy, Kilgallon - 1 each
Total goals - 15
