Re: Quarantine with Low Effort Edition: Blackburn Rovers v Preston North England, Fri 12 Feb 2021, KO 1945

Well that was a bit of a letoff. Surprised Preston didn't get 2 or more goals. I'm not sure what the tactics are anymore, but Tony needs to figure it out. Maybe playing two up front with Dack sitting behind them is the best way forward? I don't know. We don’t have a formation, which means we play o...

Quite the player that Elliot. Only 17 and it’s as if there’s 2 of him in the pitch. “ Harvey Elliott put Rovers ahead after 25 minutes, combining with Harvey Elliott to bypass the Millwall defence and struck an exquisite curling finish beyond the realms of Bartosz Bialkowski.” - Jaquob Crook Lans Live

Re: Quarantine On the Bike Edition: Blackburn Rovers v Reading, Tue 27 Oct 2020, KO 1945

They were good and it's one thing to be clinical, but on the other side of the coin our defending was total shit. First goal Douglas was laughably bad, turns his back to the ball and loses it's flight terrible start. 2nd and 4th Lenihan extremely poor. 3rd as good as JRC going forward I don't see N...

All in all a decent showing. Watford looked dangerous when they came forward but that was infrequent. Rovers played well and if they play to that standard will get results more often then not. I wish that energy had been on display at the weekend.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Don't really need him though with Nyambe, JRC and Benno. Benno can move into a roll in the scouting department...plus he seems to have picked up a serious injury. Which is addition by subtraction really. "Bennett won’t be out for a few weeks, I expect that it’ll be more substantial than that.&...

looking to be our best window in recent memory. Really have all the pieces now to let a few youngsters go out on loan while also having a squad that can push for promotion. It's on the manager now to make it work on the pitch.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I would wait until we sign a couple more foreign players before saying that, and letting them play of course. Find it hard to believe we have to “invest” to find a player that fell out of favor and would like a chance to establish himself as a number 1 He fell out of favour literally last week. The...

About as good as we can hope for on getting a first team goalkeeper. Limited budget and all that.
Agreed and sure beats the Alternative of putting Gally in goals. He certainly won’t get bored and ‘turn off’ with TMs currently configured back 4.

At this point, I would welcome the signing of a ball boy.
I hate to say it, but i think we’d be lucky to get a loan deal done before the start of the season.

Re: 2019/2020 season

Tom White joined Bolton on loan, good move for him stepping up into League 2 after promotion with Barrow this season; same manager as well. Was pondering how to reincorporate Dack back into the side given the switch to 4-3-3 after lockdown; obviously 4-2-3-1 again is an option but I reckon Mowbray ...

really?!?! :o
No way do we need Joe Hart, if we can't afford afford Tosin we certainly cannot pay Hart the 45,000 pounds a week hes making now. Tosin is only on $30k/wk wages and TM has said we cant afford him next year.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea City, Sat 29 Feb 2020, KO 1500

I guess I will allow myself to think about @Derby & Bristol now... At least we get Lenihan back vs Bristol. If we can luck out in either of those two, we might maintain playoff push. Unlikely, it’s true, but with two ties this week, aren’t we closer to final playoff spot than we were before Sto...
