Re: Huddersfield Town v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 29 Dec 2019, KO 1500

It was a reach to think we were top 6 caliber with Dack. Without him, the reality is this is a lost campaign. The positive is weve secured enough points in the unheated run to be safe going dow. From here forward this season needs to be looking at next year and the one after for a promotion push. Gr...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Wigan Athletic, Mon 23 Dec 2019, KO 1745

Quite a disappointing performance and result. Created a few good chance in the end, but much to lethargic in the first half. It was troubling to see how lose our passing in the back was. Far to many dangerous give away. Anyone else notice Nyambe first tough continuously had the ball pop up? It slowe...

Re: Leeds United v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 9 Nov 2019, KO 15:00

I think Williams being this good is a testament to him trying to improve. Halftime, Rovers looked fine to sit back for the 30 minutes, continued to do so, gave up 2 goals, then brought one back for a 1-2 score. Armstrong needs to be subbed off, he has done nothing but be pedestrian. A midfielder ne...

William's has been our best performing player on the campaign to date. Not sure if that's a testament to him or more of a shame on the rest.

Re: Leeds United v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 9 Nov 2019, KO 15:00

Not seeing a lot of the ball early on. Nothing to dangerous but I dont fancy our chances of absorbing this much pressure for 90 min

Re: Vilius Piliukaitis

According to his agency he transferred to Ascoli Calcio this past summer.

It's a wonder why he ended up here or in Italy with so many big clubs interested in his services.

Re: Preston North End v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 26 Oct 2019, KO 15:00

By and large the best half of the season. Gallagher getting a double, tactical changes in midfield with Bennett, Evans, and Dack sitting in the middle. Just looks like a completely different side and feeling. Bonus points to Bell for looking like a massively different player. Confident on the ball ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City, Sat 24 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

Certainly this formation is an option: --------------------Walton ------Adarabioyo Lenihan Williams Bennett-----Travis Johnson------Downing ---------------------Dack -------------Gallagher Graham I guess my only concern is to change system at the back having kept 2 cleans sheets. I really dont like...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City, Sat 24 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

With Cunningham unavailable I'd really like to see us play 3 at the back with Tossin rcb, and William's LCB. Play 2 up front with DG and Gally and Dack in support. I think that would go a long way to negate their physical play and not have expose Bell

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesbrough, Sat 17 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

With Cunningham ineligible at the weekend, I reckon this is our best chance to try 3 at the back. Tosin right of center, William's left.. Give DG and Gally a chance to pair up front with Dack behind them. Travis and Johnson deep and chapman and downing on the wings. Sounds better than running bell o...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

It would be interesting if we could pull that off. I think we would benefit playing with two strikers. I think benching Graham is a bad idea. With 5 strikers in the side 2 up front would make it easier to get them playing. Also it moves bennet to a more natural position and makes use of Downings ab...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I think a few things have lead to Charlie being shown the door. 1st hes getting on and lost his spot at the end of last season. 2nd Naymbe proved in the ACN this past summer he can be a center half. 3rd we had to guarantee games to the City kid in the loan agreement. 4th Charlton was an embarrassmen...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Charlton Athletic, Sat 3 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

Should be our easiest match of the season. Newly promoted side, that was the weakest of the three coming up. Lost their top 2 players and all transfers in are from league 1 or below. I just hope our back line dont concede 3 or 4. This man city deal is dragging on, so even if completed this week hard...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Wigan fans seem to think he’s far from the finished article, a bit error prone but has potential. Sure, but with 3-5 million pounds that allowed us to sign Gally. I'm not sold on the potential of Raya and if we can get like for like while pocketing a few million quid, why not? Not to mention Raya d...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Quality keeper, but would like to see one come on a permanent basis. Sound like a few more deals just about to wrap up too. We get the kid from City, and a RB we will be in good shape. https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-brighton-23-yr-old-to-undergo-blackburn-rovers-medical-as-deal-agreed/
