Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I would wait until we sign a couple more foreign players before saying that, and letting them play of course. Find it hard to believe we have to “invest” to find a player that fell out of favor and would like a chance to establish himself as a number 1 He fell out of favour literally last week. The...

About as good as we can hope for on getting a first team goalkeeper. Limited budget and all that.
Agreed and sure beats the Alternative of putting Gally in goals. He certainly won’t get bored and ‘turn off’ with TMs currently configured back 4.

At this point, I would welcome the signing of a ball boy.
I hate to say it, but i think we’d be lucky to get a loan deal done before the start of the season.

Re: 2019/2020 season

Tom White joined Bolton on loan, good move for him stepping up into League 2 after promotion with Barrow this season; same manager as well. Was pondering how to reincorporate Dack back into the side given the switch to 4-3-3 after lockdown; obviously 4-2-3-1 again is an option but I reckon Mowbray ...

really?!?! :o
No way do we need Joe Hart, if we can't afford afford Tosin we certainly cannot pay Hart the 45,000 pounds a week hes making now. Tosin is only on $30k/wk wages and TM has said we cant afford him next year.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea City, Sat 29 Feb 2020, KO 1500

I guess I will allow myself to think about @Derby & Bristol now... At least we get Lenihan back vs Bristol. If we can luck out in either of those two, we might maintain playoff push. Unlikely, it’s true, but with two ties this week, aren’t we closer to final playoff spot than we were before Stoke? ...

Re: Brentford v Blackburn Rovers

Just watched the match again. On one hand the penalty against us was soft. I thought the one for was the right call, obvious foul, it's just the result of a penalty is much more dangerous than what the foul prevented. However the ref has to call it when any player belly flops on another's back...als...

Re: Huddersfield Town v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 29 Dec 2019, KO 1500

It was a reach to think we were top 6 caliber with Dack. Without him, the reality is this is a lost campaign. The positive is weve secured enough points in the unheated run to be safe going dow. From here forward this season needs to be looking at next year and the one after for a promotion push. Gr...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Wigan Athletic, Mon 23 Dec 2019, KO 1745

Quite a disappointing performance and result. Created a few good chance in the end, but much to lethargic in the first half. It was troubling to see how lose our passing in the back was. Far to many dangerous give away. Anyone else notice Nyambe first tough continuously had the ball pop up? It slowe...

Re: Leeds United v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 9 Nov 2019, KO 15:00

I think Williams being this good is a testament to him trying to improve. Halftime, Rovers looked fine to sit back for the 30 minutes, continued to do so, gave up 2 goals, then brought one back for a 1-2 score. Armstrong needs to be subbed off, he has done nothing but be pedestrian. A midfielder ne...

William's has been our best performing player on the campaign to date. Not sure if that's a testament to him or more of a shame on the rest.

Not seeing a lot of the ball early on. Nothing to dangerous but I dont fancy our chances of absorbing this much pressure for 90 min
