Re: Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City, Sat 24 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

Certainly this formation is an option: --------------------Walton ------Adarabioyo Lenihan Williams Bennett-----Travis Johnson------Downing ---------------------Dack -------------Gallagher Graham I guess my only concern is to change system at the back having kept 2 cleans sheets. I really dont like...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City, Sat 24 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

With Cunningham unavailable I'd really like to see us play 3 at the back with Tossin rcb, and William's LCB. Play 2 up front with DG and Gally and Dack in support. I think that would go a long way to negate their physical play and not have expose Bell

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesbrough, Sat 17 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

With Cunningham ineligible at the weekend, I reckon this is our best chance to try 3 at the back. Tosin right of center, William's left.. Give DG and Gally a chance to pair up front with Dack behind them. Travis and Johnson deep and chapman and downing on the wings. Sounds better than running bell o...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

It would be interesting if we could pull that off. I think we would benefit playing with two strikers. I think benching Graham is a bad idea. With 5 strikers in the side 2 up front would make it easier to get them playing. Also it moves bennet to a more natural position and makes use of Downings ab...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I think a few things have lead to Charlie being shown the door. 1st hes getting on and lost his spot at the end of last season. 2nd Naymbe proved in the ACN this past summer he can be a center half. 3rd we had to guarantee games to the City kid in the loan agreement. 4th Charlton was an embarrassmen...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Charlton Athletic, Sat 3 Aug 2019, KO 15:00

Should be our easiest match of the season. Newly promoted side, that was the weakest of the three coming up. Lost their top 2 players and all transfers in are from league 1 or below. I just hope our back line dont concede 3 or 4. This man city deal is dragging on, so even if completed this week hard...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Wigan fans seem to think he’s far from the finished article, a bit error prone but has potential. Sure, but with 3-5 million pounds that allowed us to sign Gally. I'm not sold on the potential of Raya and if we can get like for like while pocketing a few million quid, why not? Not to mention Raya d...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Quality keeper, but would like to see one come on a permanent basis. Sound like a few more deals just about to wrap up too. We get the kid from City, and a RB we will be in good shape. https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-brighton-23-yr-old-to-undergo-blackburn-rovers-medical-as-deal-agreed/

We should 100% be after Reed.
Agreed, but have to imagine the lad wants to and deserves to test himself in the premier league. Would love to have him on a permanent but dont see it happening.

Looks like no Grant Hanley as he looks to stay at Norwich. However Alan Lying Bastard Noxin has been throwing shit in the air by naming any former Rovers defender, as Scott Dann is being linked with us.
How does that twat still have a job? Has he ever had a story that wasn't completely rubbish?

If the players and staff are on strike, the league can fuck off. Cant make people work for free.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v 'Frank Lampard's' Derby County, Tue 9 April 2019, KO 19:45

I know travis is home grown, but I sincerely hope he's on a decent contract, and Reed was a revelation last night. More than once a Derby player had the ball and lost it to Reed because he got there so quickly. I have to apologise for not mentioning Conway who imo had his best game of the season la...

Had the run of form since January been the start of the season, I dont think TM would have made it to Christmas. It looks like we might finish with around the same points as we did under Owen Coyle for fucks sake.

Re: How will Rovers finish 2018-2019 season?

The run in form since January has bee very poor. At seasons start expectations should have been mid table and staying up. While it appears this objective has been secured, I think the manner in which the season is closing out is not inspiring confidence in the squad for next year. The squad is lacki...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesborough, Sun 17 Feb 2019, KO 13:00

At the start of the campaign, I'd have been happy it being February and not concerned with relegation. However seeing the season play out, I can help but feel the team has left too many points on the pitch. I'm a bit dissatisfied to see us drift into mid table mediocrity as I think we can play with ...
