Re: The Bolton chaos

If the players and staff are on strike, the league can fuck off. Cant make people work for free.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v 'Frank Lampard's' Derby County, Tue 9 April 2019, KO 19:45

I know travis is home grown, but I sincerely hope he's on a decent contract, and Reed was a revelation last night. More than once a Derby player had the ball and lost it to Reed because he got there so quickly. I have to apologise for not mentioning Conway who imo had his best game of the season la...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Stoke City, Sat 6 April 2019, KO 15:00

Had the run of form since January been the start of the season, I dont think TM would have made it to Christmas. It looks like we might finish with around the same points as we did under Owen Coyle for fucks sake.

Re: How will Rovers finish 2018-2019 season?

The run in form since January has bee very poor. At seasons start expectations should have been mid table and staying up. While it appears this objective has been secured, I think the manner in which the season is closing out is not inspiring confidence in the squad for next year. The squad is lacki...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesborough, Sun 17 Feb 2019, KO 13:00

At the start of the campaign, I'd have been happy it being February and not concerned with relegation. However seeing the season play out, I can help but feel the team has left too many points on the pitch. I'm a bit dissatisfied to see us drift into mid table mediocrity as I think we can play with ...

Dreadful performance. It's as if going up 2-0 ten min the lads thought the game was over. Hope the injuries are minor.

2-1 after 14 minut
es!
Would rather go into the break down 2-1, than go in 2 up and concede right after the break. Seems as though the lads dropped off after going 2 up early. Need to make sure the next goal is ours.

He has a huge questionmark over his ability to stay fit, but he's certainly an exiting young player who we already know enjoys playing here. Worth the risk.
I read that the fee was only 200k, albeit with hearty sign on fees. At that price hes basically a free. Good bit of business.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Hull City, Sat 26 Jan 2019, KO 15:00

The carrot of premiership tv money, even if relegated after one campaign, and parachute payments that follow are worth trying to push on. That money, especially for a club like ours, can go a long way in building a youthful club that can compete in the top flight for years....provided we dobt use th...

Another goal conceded in the last 10 minutes that costs us. Is it possible the lads lack fitness to finish off 90 min?

Re: Rovers/Birmingham City

I think looking at his enthusiasm today and desire to win headers, Brereton no longer has the 'buzz' he had after his move here, big price tag, compliments in the media, excited fans. He now waits on the bench for 70 or 80 minutes to go and play winger with some other round pegs playing in square a...

Venkys must be questing why they allow Mowbray to spend more than 1mil per player, his 'cheap' buys have been good, it seems he doesn't know how to spend a decent lump of cash. £7,000,000 WASTED!
We haven't bought him yet. I'd say hes more of a long term investment than instant reward.
