Up the football league we go! :hyper:

More points needed from the next two games before we hit the tricky fixtures :)

Re: Quarantine Edition: Blackburn Rovers v Bristol City, Sat 20 June 2020, KO 15:00

Almost certainly a 4-2-3-1 with Gallagher out wide and Brereton up front. Armstrong on the bench? :| Gotta trust that Tony knows what he’s doing I guess Yeah, I figured my formation was off. I can’t understand arma not in 11; I guess we will be 1-1 at 90’, arm gets the winner :) Hmmm well actually ...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I was playing tennis today while wearing my Rovers shirt (always got to represent) and the guy on the court next door to me was wearing a Sunderland shirt. As he was leaving he came up to me and said that Rovers had put in a bid for their keeper Jon McLaughlin, who supposedly has been great for them...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v. Stoke

I saw Tony’s interview after the 2-2 draw with Brentford and he looked furious. Although many fans, including myself, thought it was still a good point it’s great to see there’s a real belief that we should be beating Brentford and making the play offs.

I’ll go with a Waco, a nervy 2-1 win :hyper:

Re: Brentford v Blackburn Rovers

Second best for most of the day (not a discredit to us, Brentford are just a quality team), so we’ll have to take a draw. Even though we bottled a 2-0 lead, both teams scored a soft penalty and a quality goal out of nothing. So a draw seems fair. On the plus-side, Travis gets better every game, and ...

Re: Brentford v Blackburn Rovers

We’re just about keeping up, but we can’t keep letting Benrahma have this space to shoot - Christian ‘The Wall’ Walton won’t be able to keep making saves forever :?

Some fantastic individual bits of defending here but I’d like a little bit more possession than to ease the pressure!

Re: Brentford v Blackburn Rovers

Not been this excited for a game in a while - play offs within our reach, but yet there’s still no real expectation for us to get there... So hopefully the lads just go out and play without any fear! Hopefully we’ll have Danny or Dom Sam up front. Predicting Buckley will also start again so I’m hopi...

Re: Charlton Athletic v. Blackburn

Some crazy results around us today - all of them going our way! :hyper:

We’re still definitely the underdog in this play off race, but a weekend like this will definitely raise some nerves for the teams just above us

Re: M’bro V. Blackburn, Feb. 1.

If we go with: Travis —— Johnson Armstrong — JRC — Downing/ Chapman Graham We can still avoid having to play Bennett or Gallagher! :hyper: But that’s not gonna happen anyway lol; just trying to say we still have the players available to get some points despite these injuries.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Preston North End, Sat 11 Jan 2020, KO 1500

Nyambe was our best player today, was breezing past players like they weren’t there... this had the added bonus that he didn’t have to pass to Gallagher on the right wing. Whilst I do feel sorry for him as he is clearly not a winger, his first touch really is poor compared to Graham for example, whi...
