Re: New Manager poll - select your top three choices

Talk is cheap. This time next year, what would need to happen for Tomasson to have had an acceptable first year in charge? Promotion? Play-offs? Mid-table? Avoid relegation? Progress getting the current squad to adapt to a new style of play? Bringing through more academy players? Having a clear out...

I’m quite exited about the next couple of seasons now.
So am I, and that’s what’s worrying me

I was by no means Mowbray out, but I’ll admit having a new coach with new ideas does bring a wave of excitement with it.

... I have a horrible feel though, that no one is really doing the thinking
Well if that doesn’t sum up the last 12 years…

One positive is I can think of plenty of other clubs who don’t do much thinking either

Re: Preston game

I’m certainly not one of ‘the four’ but I’m going to wade in anyway :D I think the lack of respect from the so called ‘men in suits’ for someone who’s served the club for 5 years is shocking. Maybe it’s just a football thing, but I don’t understand why a manager can never leave a club on good terms....

All us so far, yet to test the keeper though. Bit boring really because everytime it gets into their final third it predictably breaks down, gets recycled and repeated.

Travis was immense today and Buckley was incredibly poor.

Giles didn’t really work as a left forward but once he was switched to wing back he came alive.

Either way, 4 shots on target against 10 men just isn’t enough.

Get Dack in asap if he’s ready

Out of interest, what do people think of Rothwell potentially starting today? Arguably you play your best team, but seems harsh on the lads who didn’t ask to leave 2 days before the window closes

Buckley absolutely bossing it, driving at them like Rothwell. Need the full backs to push on as well because Middlesbrough are just about dealing our 3 man counter attack.

Also its been a while since we've had these kind of numbers on the poll, the popularity of the dashes has been unprecedented.

Think we're up against it tonight, lost our undefeated streak, sky cameras and a line up that suddenly looks a lot threatening when you take out Rothwell and BBD for Johnson and Gallagher.

Therefore, Rovers to win 2-0 :hyper:
