Re: Blackburn v Charlton Sat 16-12 2017

I thought we might have been three up at half time had Graham been playing -he is without doubt our number 1 cf. Having said that, I think that bringing Nuttall and Samuel on together in the last 20 minutes might shred a few defences while they are tiring. The subs again worked out well, Tomlinson w...

Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

We are chasing Shrewsbury and Wigan down relentlessly, the home fixtures against those two and Scunthorpe might be decisive, although I would hope we might have created a bit of space between us by then. Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

I hate to put a damper on everyone's optimism, but the sad truth is that the best free transfer we've ever had is Charlie Mulgrew , and he can't play forever.
Come to think of it, Salgado was also an excellent 'free'.

Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

Harper was an odd signing - he is still only 17 and obviously has improvement in him, but is he at Rovers simply to gain experience before returning to West Brom? Tomlinson on the other hand is a rather aged 19 ! With Nuttall, Nyambe, Chapman (please God we can keep him!), Raya,Lenihan, Williams,Dac...

Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

Looks like Bennet, Evans and Whittingham will be missing the next three games at least. There will never be a better time for young Tomlinson and some of the younger players to step up. If Tomlinson can do a Nuttall and break into the first team, those injuries and suspensions might turn out to be a...

Surprised Nuttall isn't starting - at his age he should be able to play five games a week

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn v Crewe, Sun 03-12 2017

Tony Mowbray has already said that he will rest some of the first team.
Having said that, am I right in thinking that in the last two seasons we've seen both Liverpool and United at Ewood in the latter stages of the cup?

Re: Charlie Mulgrew

Question for fans.
When Lenihan regains fitness, do we drop Downing?
Or do we play five across the back?
Or do we drop Williams or Nyambe?
Or do we ask Charlie to play midfield instead of Whittingham or Evans?
Answers on a postcard..................
