Re: 2019/2020 season

So at 9am Thursday the Rovers fixture list will be announced. How long before SKY puts their dirty mits in and tell us the list is nonsense because they want us to play Friday night, Saturday lunchtimes, Saturday tea time, Sundays and Mondays?

Re: Where are they now?

I remember those long long throws-a good replacement at throw ins for Pederson, no one now that gives us that option.

Re: 2019/2020 season

When are the fixtures announced? Gutted that Sunderland didn't make it. Charlton only bring a coach load whereas the Black Cats can fill up the Duggie end.

2019/2020 season

Apparently the Championship kicks off the weekend of August 3. Is it my imagination or is this early?

Re: Retained list.

To have a player of Rodwell's ability that can play midfield or centre back is a rare luxury I'd have liked to have seen him play more in midfield instead of you know who. Young Travis could only learn by the exoerience.

Re: The Bolton chaos

As I said - when this happened years ago, that team't results were totally expunged. ie as if they had never -played a match.

Re: The 2019 Final Boogaloo: Blackburn Rovers v Swansea, Sun 5 May 2019, KO 12:30

Was Nyambe on the bench? One thing we found out is that although Travis is a great central midfielder, he's no right back! Swansea's second goal was abysmal, not one, but two unmarked attackers on the edge of the area. Who were Lenihan and Williams marking and where was Evans? After seemingly short ...

I hope that Butterworth, mcgloire, buckley and one or two other youngsters make an appearance at some stage. It may also be time to say goodbye to one or two,Smallwood, perhaps.

The big disappointment for me was the way we allowed their wingers to collect the ball out wide time and time again when our backs were nowhere near them. They also gave us a lesson about shooting from outside the box, although I think Leutwiler could have done better with the first goal.

The Bolton chaos

It is many years since a Football League club failed to complete its fixtures. I seem to remember that when that happened, all the fixtures played by the club in question had to be 'expunged' from the season's records. Rovers would suffer particularly, losing 6 points, and such a situation would have ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Bolton Wanderers, Mon 22 April 2019, KO 15:00

This is not good news.
In the past when a team hasn't fulfilled their fixtures their record for the season has been expunged. Rovers would have 6 points deducted I believe.
The Football League should step in and pay them to stop the chaos.
